Lowery 2019 Of the twelve islands predicted in these newspaper articles to disappear by the end of the 20 th century, only one did (<7 percent accuracy) and that is thisisland. Does anyone know its name?  The last portion of the island to survive consisted of  tidal marsh………the topographically low portion of the island! © Darrin L. Lowery 2019   Analogous to the last house on Holland’s Island, the hotel on Sharp’s Island eroded away! It did NOT “sink”!
