Course Descrip4on The Georgia AssociaWon of Sleep Professionals supports sleep medicine pracwwoners and technologists through educawon. The annual GASP meewng is for sleep medicine physicians, technologists, advanced pracwce providers, pyschologists, denwsts, sleep medicine fellows, pulmonary criwcal care fellows, clinical neurophysiology fellows, neurology residents, and students. The goal of the program is to highlight advances in the field of sleep medicine, as well as to provide useful guidance in the clinical pracwce of sleep medicine. Learning Objects Upon complewon of this program, a[endees should be able to: Discuss strategies for addressing adverse events in the sleep laboratory during in- lab polysomnography Discuss the differenwal diagnosis of pediatric restless legs syndrome Discuss treatment strategies for persistent pediatric obstrucwve sleep apnea a^er tonsillectomy/adenoidectomy Discuss the uwlity of oral appliance therapy in the treatment of obstrucwve sleep apnea Con4nuing Educa4on Credits for Sleep Technologists and Respiratory Therapists This acwvity has been evaluated by the American AssociaWon of Respiratory Care (AARC) for ConWnuing Respiratory Care EducaWon (CRCE) credits, for a maximum of 7 credits. This acwvity has been evaluated by the American AssociaWon of Sleep Technologists (AAST) for ConWnuing EducaWon Credits (CEC) is pending, for a maximum of 7 credits. Sleep technologists and respiratory therapists should claim credit commensurate with the extent of their parwcipawon. Con4nuing Medical Educa4on Credits for Physicians The Emory University School of Medicine designates this live acwvity for a maximum of 7.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits TM. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their parwcipawon.
